    About 10 minutes on the north side of JR Yanai Station. The medieval townscape that stretches about 200 meters from Furuichi district remains as it is today, making it an important preservation district in the country. In addition to cultural properties such as “Kunimori Residence” and “Muroya No Sono Merchant House”.

    This unique lantern in the shape of a goldfish is a traditional folk craft of Yanai that has been handed down since the Edo period. You can make your own goldfish lantern by putting patterns on the eyes and body. After that, don't forget to attach fins and tails !

    Hoshino Tetsuro Memorial Museum

    A memorial hall honoring the achievements of Mr. Tetsuro Hoshino, a lyricist representing Japan, from Suo-Oshima. The museum consists of five zones, such as the “Hoshino Theater,” where you can enjoy many representative songs such as “It's a Tough Man” and “365 Steps March” with powerful images on a 270 degree multiscreen.

    Hiroshima Castle
