Jizo Bodhisattva carved into a huge rock

It is located at the entrance of Mukita Port, and when the tide is high, the tide gets wet up to the shoulders of Jizo. The giant granite rock in the sea is about 4.7m wide, 2.7m high, and 4m thick, and the Jizo Bodhisattva is engraved on the west side. This statue has an inscription of the Buddhist priest's spirit in 1300, and although it is partially worn by waves, it retains a precise mark. Image height 95 cm. It is an important cultural property of the prefecture.
