Cave ruins where traces of long-lived life from the Paleolithic period to the Yayoi period were unearthed
It is said that it was a cave site in Nagano, Jinsekikogen Town, which was discovered in 1963, and was used as a residence and base. The cave opens to the south and has an entrance width of 12m, height of 6.5m and depth of 10m. Relics such as stone tools, earthenware, bone tools, jewelry, animal bones, and shellfish from the Paleolithic period to the Yayoi period have been excavated. The excavated items can be seen at the "Jinseki Kogen Municipal Jinseki Folk Museum".
