Sandankyo, which is the only place in western Japan that has been designated as a national special scenic spot in the canyon and ravine, has received the highest rating of “three stars” along with Miyajima and the Atomic Bomb Dome in the Buddha’s travel magazine “Blue Guide”. In addition to the beauty of the gorge, it is full of highlights such as a wide variety of condensed matter groups, old trees, and giant trees.

Stop by spots ~ Here are some recommendations!

The distribution of wetlands in Japan is almost the southern limit and is also academically valuable. Visitors are greeted by plants that vary from season to season, such as kobushi in spring and oyster butterflies in summer. We recommend walking around the Minakuchidani Wetlands and Kirigatani Wetlands near the Geihoku Kogen Nature Museum.
