The biggest festival in Hatsukaichi city held every year on Sunday in early April. A few stages show will be held at the Shohoku Grand, and after, you can enjoy the feeling of cherry blossom viewing while enjoying the gourmet food of the stalls.
Just beside the venue, the rows of cherry blossoms on the Sumiyoshi embankment are spectacular enough! The light will light up on the japanese lanterns around the time of sunset.

In spring, in addition to cherry blossoms, peaches and forsythia flowers bloom at Yasuno's Hana no Eki Park. There are plenty of events where families can be excited, such as the opening of diesel cars that used to operate on the former JR Kabe Line and the operation of trolley trains!

The spring festival of Osakikamijima-cho is held at theHistory Museum which was the birthplace of Keisuke Mochizuki, Minister of the Interior in the early Showa period. It was renovated as a museum.
You can enjoy tasteful cherry blossom viewing by having matcha while listening to the koto and shinobue performances.
