A magical landscape spreads
We will introduce light up and night view spots where you can see different expressions from daytime. Why don't you go out to see the spectacular view at night, which is a perfect end to your sightseeing in Hiroshima?
[Miyajima] “Itsukushima Shrine” at night, different from daytime
The shrine is lit up every day
At Itsukushima Shrine, the shrine is lit up every day from sunset until around 11:00 p.m. With a solemn impression that is different from the splendid appearance during the day, the shrine illuminated by light is reflected on the surface of the sea, and the whole area is wrapped in a mysterious atmosphere.
Not only Itsukushima Shrine, but also the five-story pagoda and the Tahoto pagoda are lit up. It's best to stay on the island and take a tour.
[Access] About 15 minutes on foot from Miyajima Pier (to Miyajima Pier: About 3 minutes on foot from JR Miyajimaguchi Station and change to the ferry at Miyajimaguchi Pier about 10 minutes)
[Hiroshima] “Ryuo Park” Where You Can See the Night View of the City of Hiroshima

A park with tennis courts, a baseball field, and an open green space. It is a park built on a hill, so you can see the night view of the center of Hiroshima from the top of it. We recommend weekday evenings when the building lights up.
Spring is also known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms.
[Access] About 15 minutes by taxi from JR Hiroshima Station (since it is the center of the city, they will come right away if you call a taxi on the way back)
[Hiroshima] “Mariho Digital Art Road” where the promenade is wrapped in an art of lights
Stroll along the seaside promenade colored by mapping
“Marina Hop” is a complex consisting of an aquarium and a shopping mall. The 160m promenade facing the yacht harbor is illuminated by projection mapping at night. The light show last for about 10 minutes and changes depending on the season and time of day. It is so attractive that you can enjoy it whenever you visit.
It is held every 20 to 30 minutes after sunset, and is held all year round. Why don't you come and visit us?

[Onomichi] Artistically illuminated temples in Onomichi
New fun in Onomichi at night
Onomichi, which is known as a temple town, lits up its temple at night, like the Saikokuji Temple and the Jikoji Temple. This light art was created by world-renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii. LED lighting illuminates temples and shrines fantastically. The lighting time is from sunset to around 22:00. You can fully enjoy Onomichi, which has a different look from the daytime.
[Access] Depends on the temple (to Saikokuji: about 25 minutes on foot from JR Onomichi Station, to Jikoji: about 5 minutes on foot from JR Onomichi Station)
【Fukuyama】Night Stroll through “Tomonoura”
A nightlight that lights up an emotional light
Tomonoura once prospered as a port waiting for the tide. Of course, you can go sightseeing during the day when cafes and shops are open, but we also recommend taking a walk in the sunset-dyed Tomonoura.
The nightlight, which is the symbol of the city, lights up with the sunset, creating an emotional atmosphere. Coupled with the Seto Inland Sea dyed in red red, the scenery of the tasteful port town spreads out.
[Access] About 30 minutes by Tomotetsu Bus from JR Fukuyama Ekimae, about 5 minutes on foot from Tomoko bus stop (Tomoko → Fukuyama-ekimae bus ends at 21:18 on weekdays)
