Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Continue to appeal for the abolition of nuclear weapons and the realization of permanent world peace
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum was opened in 1955 with the aim of communicating the reality of the damage caused by the atomic bomb to people all over the world and contributing to the abolition of nuclear weapons and the realization of permanent world peace, which is the heart of Hiroshima. At 8:15 am on August 6, 1945, Hiroshima was the first in the world to be damaged by an atomic bomb. Most of the town was destroyed and many people lost their lives. Even those who barely survived suffered great physical and psychological damage, and many A-bomb survivors are still suffering. The Peace Memorial Museum collects and displays photographs and materials showing the remains of the A-bomb survivors and the devastation of the A-bomb, as well as the history of Hiroshima before and after the A-bomb and the situation during the nuclear age. In addition to holding lectures on A-bomb experience by A-bomb survivors, we also lend out materials for peace learning.
Kagura Monzen Yujimura
Kagura, hot springs, delicious food. A relaxing inn
There are many accommodation plans in Yuji Village to stay in a traditional building, soak in the hot springs, and enjoy delicious food. You can enjoy luxurious kaiseki cuisine in your room, and enjoy Kagura while strolling through the nostalgic Yuji village that is dyed at dusk while being healed by the natural radon hot springs.
Sera Kogen Farm
The flower garden of Hyakuhana Ryoran is a breathtaking beauty
At the Sera Kogen Farm, seasonal flowers beautifully decorate the fields every year. Spring is cherry blossoms and tulips. Approximately 800 pink showers and colorful spring flowers bloom in full bloom, centered on weeping cherry blossoms. Approximately 750,000 tulips are planted with different designs for each field, and the "flower painting" that draws a flower pattern is a masterpiece. In summer, about 1.1 million sunflowers dye the entire hill, which is wider than Mazda Stadium, in yellow. Autumn is dahlia and garden mum. Dahlia of 550 kinds and about 7500 strains boasts the largest number of varieties in western Japan. A new and colorful garden mum of the Asteraceae family has also appeared, and it has evolved into a more colorful flower garden. One of the pleasures is that you can enjoy barbecue and seasonal Japanese dishes at the farm restaurant. There is also a delicious flower cafe with herbal tea, and there are many experience menus and events that children can enjoy.

Miyoshi Mononoke Memorial Japanese Youkai Museum
Welcome to the world of "Mononoke"
Miyoshimachi, Miyoshi City, where this museum stands, is the setting for the Ino Mononokeroku. Ino mononokeroku is a youkai story that has been handed down over a wide area of the country, and has been the subject of picture books, picture scrolls, and manga from the Edo period to the present day. In a place with such a historical background, the main building was opened with the donation of a huge collection of about 5,000 items from Mr. Koichi Yumoto, one of Japan's leading youkai collectors.
Tobishima Kaido Cycling Road
Seven bridges connect seven islands with the scenery of Setouchi
The "Tobishima Kaido" begins at the "Akinada Bridge" that connects Kawashiri Town, Kure City and Shimo-kamagari Island. The mild climate and scenic scenery of Setouchi. Each of the bridges connecting the islands is unique and connects to "Kamagari Bridge", "Toshima Bridge", "Toshima Bridge", "Heira Bridge", "Nakanoseto Bridge" and "Okamura Bridge". The total length of the Tobishima Kaido is about 100 km round trip. Cyclists dominate the entire island. Families and tourists should go around one island. There is also a route from the last island "Okamura Island" to "Shimanami Kaido" and "Imabari", so long rides are possible.
CRUISE FERRY Sea Paseo
A ship that connects Hiroshima-Kure-Matsuyama with a heart!
On the Hiroshima-Kure-Matsuyama route, the ship "Sea Paseo", which is based on the image of "Minna no Park, where you can enjoy the movement of the Seto Inland Sea," is in service. We have prepared various seat arrangements so that you can relax as you wish on board. Since I don't feel the sea breeze on the deck, I devised a way to enjoy the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea more comfortably.
Okunoshima
Rabbit lovers will love the so-called "Rabbit Island"
About 15 minutes by boat from Tadanoumi Port in Takehara City. This small island with a circumference of about 4 km was called "an island erased from the map" because there used to be a poisonous gas factory. Currently designated as a national park, it is known to be home to about 500 to 600 rabbits, and many tourists from Japan and abroad are visiting for healing. On the island, there are facilities such as Okunoshima, a vacation village where you can enjoy accommodation, hot springs, and local gourmet food, the poison gas museum, and the Okunoshima visitor center. At Kyukamura Okunoshima, you can enjoy camping, cycling, tennis and fishing, and in the summer, a beach and an outdoor pool will open. It is an island where you can spend a relaxing time while interacting with rabbits in the beautiful nature of the Seto Inland Sea.
